Dragon Shelter System Requirements: Minimum and Recommended Specs
Official Dragon Shelter PC specs from Steam: Windows 10 64-bit, i7-6700, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1050 Ti, and 10 GB storage minimum. Full minimum and recommended table.
What are Dragon Shelter’s system requirements?
Dragon Shelter needs a 64-bit Windows PC with at least an Intel Core i7-6700 or AMD Ryzen 3200, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 560, plus 10 GB of storage. Those minimums target 1080p at 30 FPS on Low settings. The full official table is below.

Can my PC run Dragon Shelter?
Compare your parts against the table, then set expectations by tier: at the minimum you are looking at 1080p and 30 FPS with Low settings, while the recommended tier doubles the frame rate target to 60 FPS at High on the same resolution. Note that both official GPU tiers spell out VRAM explicitly — 4 GB for the minimum cards and 6 GB for the recommended ones — so a similarly named card with less VRAM is not an equivalent substitute.
Do you need an SSD to play?
The official minimum listing marks an SSD as recommended for the 10 GB installation. A farming sim is not the most load-sensitive genre, but with the developer explicitly calling it out, an SSD is the safer assumption for smooth streaming of the world.
What about laptops and older machines?
The minimum CPU tier is a desktop chip from around 2015, which most machines from the last several years outrun — the usual question mark is the GPU. Every graphics option on the official list is a dedicated card, so a laptop relying purely on integrated graphics has no officially blessed configuration, and a free test run is the honest way to find out.
Does the demo have its own requirements?
No separate spec sheet is published for the demo, so the full game’s table above is the practical guide. The same Windows-only caveat applies, and comparing your frame rate against the official targets — 30 FPS Low at minimum, 60 FPS High at recommended — tells you quickly which tier you sit in.
